Invoices
Convert an accepted quotation into an invoice, invoice numbering, GST on invoices and marking payments.
Last updated 15 October 2026
An invoice in Proposora is created from an accepted quotation, so the lines, GST and totals carry over exactly. Invoices are not created from scratch; the quotation is always the source.
Converting a quotation
- Open an accepted quotation and choose Convert to invoice.
- The invoice is for the full quotation amount. Payment milestones print for reference, but one invoice is raised per quotation.
- Set the invoice date and due date. The invoice number comes from your invoice series.
- Review and send as PDF or share link.
What prints on an invoice
- Your legal name, GSTIN, PAN and address, and the customer's details including GSTIN if provided.
- Items with taxable value, GST slab and amount; the tax summary by component and rate.
- Grand total, round-off if enabled, and the amount in words in the Indian style (lakh, crore).
- Payment instructions and bank details from your settings.
Invoice status
An invoice moves from Draft to Sent when you share it, then to Paid when you mark it paid, or Void if it is cancelled. Payments are recorded in full; there is no partial payment tracking yet.
Proposora prepares invoices with correct figures. E-invoicing (IRN) and GST return filing are not included.
