AI proposal generator that drafts the words, not the numbers
Paste what the customer asked for. Proposora writes the scope, deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, schedule and terms for your industry, suggests line items, and marks anything it cannot know as a placeholder. You price it.
How it works
- Step 1
Describe the requirement
A few sentences, a WhatsApp message or a tender extract. Choose your industry template.
- Step 2
Generate a draft
Sections are written in plain English for your trade. Unknown details become [placeholders].
- Step 3
Add prices and costs
Suggested items land in the builder with no prices. You set rates; the engine computes GST and totals.
- Step 4
Review, send, follow up
Fix placeholders, download the PDF or share a link, and let the follow-up reminders do their job.
What a generated draft looks like
Below is the starter content for the IT services template, which is what the generator improves on with your requirement. Bracketed text is a placeholder: the AI uses the same convention when it drafts.
Example requirement
Build a customer portal for a logistics company: login, shipment tracking, invoice download and support tickets; React front end, Node/Postgres back end, deployed on the customer's cloud; 10 weeks with 3 months of support.
In the demo you can edit this text and see a template-based quotation. AI drafting runs after sign-up.

We will design, build and deploy [Product Name], a [web application] that lets [customer's users] [key outcome]. The project is delivered in fixed phases with a demo at the end of each, so you see working software every two weeks.
Scope of work
- Discovery: requirement workshops, user flows and a prioritised feature list - UX/UI design: wireframes and high-fidelity screens for [12] key screens - Development: [React] front end, [Node.js] API, [PostgreSQL] database - Integrations: [payment gateway, SMS/WhatsApp notifications] - Testing: functional, cross-browser and basic security testing - Deployment on the customer's cloud account and handover of source code
Assumptions
- A single point of contact approves designs and features within [3 working days] - Content, logos and brand guidelines are provided by the customer - Cloud, domain and third-party service costs are paid directly by the customer - Scope is fixed to the feature list agreed at the end of discovery; changes go through a written change request
Exclusions
- Native mobile apps (available as a separate proposal) - Data migration from legacy systems unless listed - Ongoing hosting and third-party subscription fees - Marketing, SEO and content writing
Why we separate writing from pricing
Language models are good at structure and phrasing and bad at arithmetic and facts. A proposal needs both, so Proposora splits the job. The AI drafts narrative sections and proposes items by name, unit and typical quantity. The pricing engine, a deterministic piece of code with unit tests, does every calculation. You supply rates and costs, because only you know them. The result is a document that reads well and adds up, with no risk of a hallucinated discount or a GST rate that does not exist.
Placeholders instead of guesses
A proposal often needs specifics the AI cannot know: the brand of inverter you install, the DISCOM you deal with, the number of site visits included, your warranty period. Rather than invent plausible values, the generator writes a bracketed placeholder, for example [5-year inverter warranty], and the editor highlights each one until you resolve it. The copilot panel lists every remaining placeholder under “Review before sending”, so you can work through them before you share.
Trained on your industry's shape, grounded in your words
Each of the twelve industry templates gives the generator a skeleton: which sections matter for a solar installer versus a marketing agency, what exclusions are typical, how payment milestones are usually structured. Your requirement and any existing text in the document supply the substance. The output therefore sounds like a contractor's quotation or a consultant's proposal, not a generic business letter.
What it costs
AI generations are an allowance on each plan. The Free plan includes a few a month, enough to try it on real work. The Founders' Offer includes 30 generations over 90 days with no card. Pro and Business include higher monthly allowances. Every other feature works without using a generation at all.
