Every field in your organisation settings and how it appears on documents, including GSTIN, tax mode and round-off.

Last updated 15 October 2026

Settings hold the facts about your business that print on every document. Set them once and never retype them.

Identity

  • Business name: how you are known; printed as the header.
  • Legal name: the registered name, printed beside the GSTIN when different.
  • Industry: used to suggest templates.
  • Logo: PNG or SVG, shown on branded PDFs and the share page. Logos are stored in a public-read image bucket so they load on customer-facing pages; do not upload anything confidential as a logo.
  • Email, phone, WhatsApp, website: printed in the footer so customers can reach you.

Address and tax

  • Address, city, state, postal code, country.
  • GSTIN and PAN: printed on quotations and invoices. Leave GSTIN blank if you are not registered.
  • Tax label: 'GST' by default; change it if you quote outside India.
  • Tax mode: exclusive (prices before tax, tax added) or inclusive (prices include tax, split out on the document).
  • Round-off totals: when on, the grand total rounds to the nearest rupee and the adjustment prints as its own line.

Payments and terms

  • Payment instructions: free text, for example 'UPI to name@bank or NEFT to the account below'.
  • Bank details: account name, number, IFSC, branch; printed on invoices.
  • Default terms: standard commercial terms appended to new quotations.
  • Default validity: days a quotation stays valid; templates may override.

Numbering and brand

  • Quotation prefix and next number, for example QT-0042. Invoices have a separate series.
  • Brand primary and accent colours for PDFs and the share page.

How GST is applied

Each line item carries a GST slab (0, 5, 12, 18 or 28 percent). The document records whether the supply is within your state (CGST and SGST, split equally) or inter-state (IGST). Tax is computed per line, rounded half-up to two decimals, and grouped by component and rate in the summary. Document discounts are allocated across lines so the breakdown stays exact.

Proposora produces documents with correct GST figures. It does not file returns or validate GSTINs against the government portal.
