Getting started with Proposora

Create your account, set up your organisation and send your first quotation in about fifteen minutes.

Last updated 15 October 2026

Proposora is organised around organisations. You sign up as a person, then create or join an organisation (your business). Quotations, customers, templates and billing belong to the organisation, so a colleague who joins later sees the same data.

1. Create your account

  1. Go to Sign up and enter your email and a password. No card is requested.
  2. Confirm your email from the message we send. If it does not arrive within a few minutes, check spam and then use 'Resend'.
  3. If you were invited by a colleague, use the link in the invitation instead so you land in their organisation.

2. Set up your organisation

The onboarding wizard asks for your business name, industry and country. Industry chooses which templates are suggested; you can use any template regardless. If you registered during the Founders' Offer window, the offer is activated on this step and the 90-day period starts now.

3. Complete your business profile

Under Settings, add your legal name, GSTIN, PAN, address, phone, WhatsApp number, logo, bank details and payment instructions. These appear on every quotation, PDF and invoice. See the business profile and GST article for each field.

4. Create your first quotation

  1. Open Quotations and choose New quotation.
  2. Pick an industry template or start blank.
  3. Add or edit line items; totals compute as you type.
  4. Review the sections and replace bracketed placeholders.
  5. Download the PDF or share a link with the customer.

Everything in a template is illustrative. Edit every quantity and price before sending.

What to do next

  • Add your frequently quoted items to the catalogue so new quotations are mostly counting.
  • Save an edited template as your own.
  • Invite a colleague if your plan includes more than one seat.
